Akkineni Nagarjuna and Nayantara starrer film "Greeku Veerudu" is all set to release on April 19th along with Nitin's "Gunde Jaari Gallantayyinde". The makers of "Greeku Veerudu" movie has decided to launch the audio on April 3rd at Shilpa Kala Vedika in Hyderabad.
Nagarjuna plays an NRI (lives in America) who appears like "Greeku Veerudu" and attracts females. His philosophy is such that one can fall in love any number of times. Nayantara plays a character who’s just the opposite. Under Kamakshi movies banner D. Siva Prasad Reddy is producing the movie. The movie is being directed by Dasarath and SS Thaman has scored the music for this film.
Allari Naresh who earlier done remix of old hits like "Aakasamlo Oka Tara" and "Manchamesi Duppatesi" is now going to act in another remix song of Nagarjuna and Amala's hit song "Swathi Mutyapu Jallulo". This song is from "Prema Yuddam" movie which came in the year 1990. This song is going to remix in Allari Naresh's upcoming movie "Action 3D".

The film centers around a 14 year girl who has a crush on the school's hottie played by actor Tahaa Shah. The movie is directed by Sonam Nair and it is produced under Dharma Productions and UTV Pictures. The movie is slated to release on May 10th.
Ajay Devgn and Tammannah's "Himmatwala" movie was failed at the box office. This is the remake of 1983 of same name. The movie was directed by Sajid Khan. The movie collected just Rs. 31 Crores in the first weekend. On opening day of 29th March the movie collected Rs. 12 Crores, 8.5 Crores collected on Saturday and on holiday i.e. sunday the movie collected by just 10.5 Crores.
Director Sajid Khan, who is known for giving hit comedies like Heyy Babbyy and Housefull, expected his film to do a business of Rs 200 crore. Besides Ajay Devgn and Tammannah Bhatia, Himmatvala also stars Mahesh Manjrekar and Paresh Rawal.

Singer Lata Mangeshkar congratulated younger sister Asha Bhosle with the Hridaynath Mangeshkar Award at a function that saw all the Mangeshkar siblings come together. Asha Bhonsle was known for evergreen songs like "Dum maro Dum", "Mehbooba mehbooba", "Mera Kuch Saaman", "Piya tu ab to aaja", "Chura liya hai tum ne" and "Dil Cheez Kya hai during her six decade career. Asha was rewarded Rs.100,000, said she would add some more money and donate the entire amount to those affected by the drought here.

Mega Power Star Ram Charan is currently busy in "Yevadu" movie shooting directed by Vamsi Paidipally. The movie is produced by Dil Raju under Sri Venkateshwara Creations banner. The movie shooting is going in Hyderabad and Ram Charan got a serious injury to his hand and lost conscious while he was taking a long jump for a particular scene. While taking a long jump he lost his balance and his thumb was seriously injured.
Shruthi Haasan and Amy Jackson shared the screen with Cherry while Allu Arjun and Kajal Aggarwal played the prominent roles in this action entertainer movie.
