The 66th Cannes Film Festival will be opening on 15th May. This festival will be very special for India. It's the "guest country" of the festival and a number of Indian films are part of various Cannes programmes this year. Opening Ceremony will witness illustrious Bollywood names like Amitabh Bachchan, whose film "The Great Gatsby" opens the festival, and Vidya Balan, who is on the competition jury this year.
Along with them, Sonam Kapoor one of the most fashionable Bollywood stars and an ambassador of a well-known cosmetic brand, will join them on the red carpet.
This will be the third Cannes appearance of Sonam and she is delighted about it.
