100 years of Indian Cinema celebrations started

100 years of Indian Cinema celebrations is going to start from today in Chennai. The celebrations is going to inaugurated by Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jaya Lalitha. The Tamil Nadu government is spending 30 crores for this spectacular event.

Kalyan, the Organiser and President of South Indian Film Chamber Of Commerce, said, "Indian Cinema Centenary Festival, will be held from September 21-24 in Nehru Indoor Stadium, Chennai. The event will be inaugurated by honorable Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, J Jayalalitha."

Kalyan further added that President Pranab Mukherjee will be the Chief Guest of the valedictory function of 100 years of Indian Cinema, which is scheduled on September 24. The event will also be attended by Tamil Nadu Governor Rossaiha, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy, Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy.

The schedule of 100 years of Indian Cinema :

Sept 21st – Inaguartion and Celebrations of Tamil Film Industry (Kollywood)

Sept 22nd (Morning) – Celebrations of Kannada Film industry (Sandal Wood)

Sept 22nd (Evening) – Celebrations of Telugu Film Industry (Tollywood)

Sept 23rd – Celebrations of Malayalam film Industry (Malluwood)

Sept 24th – Farewell.
