Telugudesam party is the first and only party in the state that gave prominence to film stars and made them MLAs, MPs. But many of them took a backseat for some time and now they are heard of fearing TDP's comeback. Many of the actors and actress enjoyed the golden rule in TDP and took U-turn when the party went to opposition. 
But former comedian and politician Babu Mohan says, "There is no need of cine glamour for TDP to comeback into power. As long as there are NTR's aura and Naidu's principles Telugudesam party will rule this Telugu land". However, comedian AVS says that there are lots of admirers for TDP in Film Industry and they will come out once party comes into power.

Finally Revathi got Divorce


Finally Revathi got Divorce.
Actress Revathi who has acted in all south Indian languages is now finally got divorce by the Additional Family court on April 22nd. She was married to a cinematographer Suresh Menon in 1986 and they got separated in the 2002. Both filed for a mutual divorce petition on two separate occasions last year and a Chennai Court has given April 22nd 2013 as the date for final verdict after couple of hearings.

Revathi made her onscreen debut with the Tamil flick "Mann Vaasanai" in the year 1983. She is one of the leading heroines down South at one point of time. Apart from few Hindi films, she acted in several Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam films. Till date, she has been part of over 150 projects and also won National award for his directorial debut.

Thirty year old Vidya Balan who is best known for her path breaking roles in films like "The Dirty Picture", "Kahaani" and "Parineeta" is going to be a part in Cannes Film Festival. Along with her "Life of Pi" director Ang Lee is also a part of Cannes Film Festival nine member jury, headed by Hollywood director Steven Spielberg.

The other big names joining Steven Spielberg are Oscar- winning actress Nicole Kidman, Oscar-winner Christophe Waltz, Japanese director Naomi Kawase, Scottish director Lynne Ramsay, French actor-director Daniel Auteuil and Romanian director Cristian Mungiu.

The jury will award the coveted Palme d'Or prize to one of the 19 films in competition at this year's festival, which runs from May 15th to 26th.
Cannes has invited India this year to celebrate 100 years of country's cinema. Apart from Vidya Balan, actress Nandita Das is also a part of a separate jury for short films.

The festival will open on May 15th with The Great Gatsby, which also has megastar Amitabh Bachchan in a cameo. The actor will be attending the opening ceremony while the festival has extended a special invite to his daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai, a regular at Cannes' red carpet.

This year, four Indian films have been selected in different non-competition categories at Cannes. Bombay Talkies, an anthology film by four directors Kashyap, Dibakar Banerjee, Zoya Akhtar and Karan Johar will have a gala screening at the festival.

Trailer of Dhanush "Raanjhanaa" released

The trailer of Dhanush and Sonam Kapoor's much awaited movie "Raanjhanaa" is released. With this movie Dhanush made his bollywood debut. Dhanush wife Aishwaryaa will be promoting the movie in Hindi. The movie is directed by Anand L Rai which is all set to release on June 21st. The movie is based on the intense love story set in Varanasi and has music by Oscar winning AR Rahman. The movie also brings back Sonam Kapoor and Abhay Deol together, who had last shared screen space in Aisha.

Manoj "Potugadu" in Post Production works

Manchu Manoj’s "Potugadu" is currently shooting is going in Karnataka. Parallel to the shooting post production works are going on and the makers are planning to release the movie in the month of July or August. The movie is directing by Pawan under Ramalakshmi Movies banner. In this action entertainer movie Simran Mundi Kaur, Nathalia Kaur and Sakshi will be seen as the female leads. Chakri is scoring the music and Sreedhar Seepana is penning the dialogues.

First Look of "Kamasutra 3D"

Sherlyn Chopra who is playing the lead role in "Kamasutra 3D" has already grabbed attention. The movie is directed by Rupesh Paul. Recently, the first look of the movie is released.

Sherlyn Chopra tweeted the image of the posters of the film saying, "1 of the few posters of Kamasutra 3D to be shortly showcased at a press conference at the 66th Cannes Film Festival."

Sherlyn Chopra is the first popular Indian actress to star in the ancient Indian erotica cinematic adaptation unlike Mira Nair's Kamasutra: A Tale Of Love, which starred two American born actresses, Indira Verma and Sarita Choudhury in the lead roles.

New Trailer of "Iddarammayilatho" Released


New Trailer of
Allu Arjun's romantic flick "Iddarammayilatho" movie shooting is in final leg. Today is the last day for the song shooting which is going at Annapurna 7 acres complex and from May 1st post production works starts. Just a while a ago, the new trailer of the movie is released which is a melody song. Puri Jaggannadh directed the movie and Produced by Bandla Ganesh under Parameshwara Arts banner. Amala Paul and Catherina Tresa romanced with Allu Arjun. The audio of the movie is going to release on April 28th in Hyderabad and movie is all set to release on May 24th.
